Terms and conditions
Our desire is to offer our guests an exceptional experience in terms of cleanliness, safety and comfort.
These rules have been established based on industry standards, our internal procedures and our own experience in managing this property. They will be considered accepted by our guests from the moment of booking, and by signing the registration form, all the policies and rules of this property are accepted and respected, rules that come to the support of our guests.
The guesthouse’s policy is subject to change without prior notice.
The minimum age to book is 18 years old.
Reservations for which a valid credit/debit card details are not provided, which have not been paid in advance or for which a deposit has not been made in advance are considered by the hostel as non-guaranteed reservations and are retained by the hostel until 11.00 a.m. on the day of arrival, after which the hostel reserves the right to vacate the room without prior notice.

- The cancellation deadline for a reservation, without penalty, is five days before arrival. The deposit paid is not refundable, but will represent a deposit for a future stay.
- For cancellations made within three days but up to 48 hours before arrival, the value of the first night’s accommodation is charged, an amount that is deducted from the deposit paid.
- For cancellations made less than 48 hours before arrival, or in case of no-show, after 19:00 on the day of arrival, the full value of the reservation will be charged, an amount that will be deducted from the deposit paid.
In case of no-show, the guesthouse reserves the right to vacate the room(s) for the remainder of the stay.
Check-in is at 16:00, and check-out is at 11:00.
The late check-out fee is 50 lei/ hour (check-out no later than 19:00 and is subject to availability).
The accommodation will be based on the presentation of an identity document, the voucher (in the case of tourists with the stay ordered at a travel agency) and the completion of the accommodation form.
We will do our best to honor your requests, such as your preference for a certain floor, a certain room, as soon as you arrive, subject to availability at that time, so we cannot guarantee their resolution in advance.

Rates include VAT, parking, breakfast and access to the SPA area. Breakfast can be served daily between 08.00-10.00.
Rates differ depending on the period and the type of room you opt for. The rates are not valid during public holidays as well as special offers. The management of Pensiunea La Valtoare may change the periods of special offers without prior notice.
Any type of room occupied on a single basis has an accommodation rate.
For the accommodation of additional guests (adults) and children in the same room as their parents, please consult the reception of the guesthouse.
Children over the age of 14 are considered adults.

For children aged 5 – 10 years there is an additional fee of 130 lei/ night (accommodation with extra bed + breakfast + access to the guesthouse’s facilities)
For children aged 11-15 years, an additional fee of 130 lei/ night is charged (accommodation with extra bed + breakfast + access to facilities).

The parking lot can be used by the guests of the guesthouse, free of charge, within the limit of available spaces.
Although we take all precautions, we do not assume responsibility in case of theft or damage to the surface of our property.
It is forbidden to carry out repairs or any other car maintenance activities in the parking lot (e.g. oil or antifreeze changes, fuel refueling, etc.).
It is forbidden to park cars and all means of transport that do not enter the delimited parking space.
We do not assume any responsibility for forgotten, lost or allegedly stolen objects within the property, guesthouse, restaurant, bar, SPA area.
We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or restaurant service to drunk, rude or turbulent customers, who by their attitude damage the image of the guesthouse or disturb other customers.
It is forbidden to bring drinks and food from outside. It is also forbidden to drink excessively, loud sound systems both indoors and outdoors, or at times that disturb other tourists, especially outdoors after 11:00 p.m.
It is forbidden to throw garbage of any kind, including cigarette butts, in any place other than garbage cans or ashtrays. It is also forbidden to light fires of any kind.
Smoking is not allowed in the rooms or in the spaces not specially arranged. The rooms are equipped with a smoke detector, which triggers the fire alarm.
For their safety, children should not be left unattended in the guesthouse or in the courtyard of the guesthouse.
The room access card is not given to people under 18 years of age. Please hand over the room card to the reception at the time of check-out of the guesthouse.
The à la carte restaurant is open daily from 12.00 to 23.00, from Tuesday to Sunday.
Breakfast can be served daily from 08:00 to 10:00.
To accommodate additional requests (e.g. food restrictions, vegetarians) please mention them at the time of booking.
Breakfast is served on all guests. As a rule, breakfast is a Swedish buffet and is served only in the guesthouse’s restaurant. If a hot breakfast is desired, the restaurant staff is ready to respond to your wishes.
Access to the spa area can be made daily, between 9.00 – 21.00.
We do not recommend using towels in the room at the guesthouse’s swimming pool.
In order to offer our guests a special experience, we reserve the right to enter the room for cleaning, maintenance, checks or to prevent possible damage. If you do not want to be disturbed, please use the “Do Not Disturb” sign.
However, the management of the guesthouse reserves the right to enter the room, even if it is marked with the notice “Do not disturb” in case of an emergency, a suspicion of illegal activity or potential destruction of the guesthouse’s property.
Cleaning inside the rooms takes place daily, between 10.00 – 15.00. This involves cleaning the bathroom, checking the availability of toilet products, picking up garbage bags from the room and bathroom, tidying up the room and placing the bed if there are no personal belongings on it.
Because we want to protect the environment as much as possible, the change of linen and towels is done every 2 days.
For special offers, the Terms and Conditions may be amended as appropriate. The terms presented in the offers cancel the aforementioned terms and conditions as the case may be.
Please inform the guest house staff immediately in the event of a fire or emergency. A map of emergency exits can be found in every room on the front door.
The guesthouse is equipped with fire detectors, emergency safety information and evacuation plans.
Pension La Valtoare***** is privately owned.
We reserve the right not to accept customers who are under the influence of alcohol, drugs, who disturb the peace of other customers, do not comply with the rules and policies of the guesthouse, cause damage, try to bring into the guesthouse forbidden, flammable, toxic substances, etc.
The guesthouse’s policy is subject to change without prior notice.
In case of non-compliance with one or more restrictions of this regulation, the pension reserves the right to act according to the law for violation of private property or its internal rules.
Complaints regarding the quality of the tourist services provided can be made on the spot, throughout the stay, at the reception or by sending an e-mail to: rezervari@valtoare.ro. Complaints that could only be remedied during the stay will not be taken into account later.
Complaints regarding the theft, destruction or damage of goods brought by the Client to the Guesthouse must be brought to the attention of the Guesthouse within 24 hours from the date on which the Client became aware of the theft, destruction or damage of the goods.
Any dispute regarding the Document that may arise between the Client and La Valtoare Pension will be resolved amicably. If the amicable settlement of the conflict is not possible within 30 days from the registration of the complaint, it will be resolved by the competent court according to the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure.
If any of the above clauses are found to be null or void, for whatever reason, this clause will not affect the validity of the other clauses of this Agreement.
La Valtoare Pension is not responsible for any losses, costs, lawsuits, claims, expenses, etc., if they are directly caused by non-compliance with the Terms and Conditions.
The guesthouse attaches great importance to the personal data belonging to its Clients or visitors. For this reason, it has made available to them both specific information notes and a Privacy Policy that deals with the particularities of data processing at the time of browsing the www.valtoare.ro online platform.
Pensiunea La Valtoare reserves the right to make any changes to the provisions of this Document, as well as any changes to the Site/its structure, including changes that could affect the Site and/or any Content, without prior notice to the Consumer in this regard.
La Valtoare Pension cannot be held responsible for any errors that occur on the Site for any reason, including due to modifications, settings, etc., which are not made by the Site administrator.

This document of agreement between the parties has been drafted in accordance with the legislation applicable on the territory of Romania.
